Our programs are designed to improve balance, confidence and technique, offering the perfect opportunity to train during the flat season.

The Toronto Surfskating community is a vibrant group of enthusiastic, empowering, and encouraging shredders who embody the stoke of learning a new skill and having fun while doing it!
We’re made up of cold-water lake surfers, skaters, small business trailblazers, friends, and families who are eager to hit the pavement together, so come join us and be part of the fun!

We mostly skate at the Beaches skatepark (Ashbridges) or the Underpass skatepark but are happy & known to go exploring Toronto for the freshest urban waves to surf on.

Suitable for: Complete beginners to board sports with no surf/skate experience, beginner surfers looking to hone their skills on dry land.
Group lessons are perfect for those who want to learn to skate with a few mates! Max of 4 participants, we'll run through our beginner drills, adapting to each individual's skill levels!
Group lessons are held Saturday mornings
7am / 8am / 9am
Please inquire if you wish to join a group session and we'll find a time and date that suits.

Suitable for: Complete beginners to board sports with no surf/skate experience, beginner surfers looking to hone their skills on dry land.
Learn to skate with some basic techniques to get you started, this lesson will include stance, pushing, stopping safely, explanations on bailing, turning, creating tight turns and generating speed without pushing
Our instructors will adapt to your level and provide drills that will help you progress at your own pace.

Suitable for: Surfers with some skating experience, Surfskaters with experience looking to transition onto ramps and bowls
We will progressively build on the drills presented in our beginner lesson, focusing on technique and stance, extension and compression and generating speed.
With the addition of angled walls and ramps, when ready we'll also start to look at techniques such as frontside and backside slides, snaps, bertslides and more.
